Abstract—In spite of the importance of design, the associated study has been incompetently represented as an academic subject in accordance with its cognitive aspects; this fragmented attitude must be reshaped through considering information-oriented cognitive approaches by emphasizing the creativity in the design process. Accordingly, the design is a productive and cognitive, individual and collective approach can be defined as an activity that formulates, physically and mentally, the “environment” of human being. This paper is aimed to develop a theoretical-applied nature that provides knowledge-based cognitive approach toward the associated pedagogy and exercises to the formulation of the related architectural education through analyzing the design methodologies from multiple perspectives, and synthesizing the stages that structure them to a cognitive framework. Eventually it would be and attempt to determine and structure the educational strategies in order to implement a conceptual model/framework incorporating with the architectural design education.
